With over 22 years of clinical experience, Rachel is a highly skilled Osteopath dedicated to helping patients resolve pain and restore optimal function. She graduated from RMIT University in 2003 with a double Bachelor degree in Applied Science/Clinical Science and Osteopathic Science, and has since built a reputation for providing thoughtful, precise and evidence-informed care.

After running her own successful practice in Bendigo, central Victoria, Rachel relocated to the Sunshine Coast in 2018 and has been a valued member of the Advanced Health team for the past eight years.

Rachel has a particular interest in the diagnosis and treatment of complex musculoskeletal conditions, especially pelvic and hip pain, as well as neck pain, temporomandibular joint (TMJ) dysfunction, and headaches. She is known for her ability to assess and treat the underlying drivers of pain, particularly in cases where symptoms have become persistent or difficult to resolve.

A key area of Rachel’s clinical expertise is the treatment of tendon injuries, particularly chronic tendinopathies such as gluteal and proximal hamstring tendinopathy, rotator cuff injuries, and lateral elbow pain (tennis elbow). For these conditions she incorporates Radial Shockwave Therapy using the EMS Swiss DolorClast®, widely recognised as the global gold standard in shockwave technology. This therapy helps stimulate tissue regeneration and support healing in chronic tendon conditions that have often failed to respond to other treatments.

Rachel also offers Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) using the Erchonia EVRL, another globally recognised gold standard technology. This therapy is particularly effective for acute injuries, helping to accelerate tissue repair, reduce inflammation and support faster recovery.
