Why Choose Osteopathy?

Our purpose at Advanced Health Pain & Injury Clinic is to thoroughly approach each and every patient to give you a better understanding of your health concerns and body.

Advanced Health has been established for over 10 years in Buderim and offers Osteopathy and Myotherapy. We work alongside GP's, Sports Medicine Doctors, Orthopaedic Surgeons, and have the ability to refer for X-rays and MRI's should they be necessary.

Our Osteopathic practitioners are government registered health professionals who complete a minimum five-year university double degree, training in anatomy, physiology, pathology, general medicine, and osteopathic techniques.

Osteopaths are not just limited to the treatment of the spine or rehab, but treat all areas of the body including joints, muscles, tendons and ligaments.

We take a more thorough look at the biomechanics of your body and piece together 'why' your problem has occurred in the first place, whilst treating the presenting issues.

We guarantee thoroughness, professionalism, and educated medical advice to assist in your recovery.

What is Osteopathy?

Osteopathy is a form of manual healthcare that recognises the important link between the structure of the body and the way it functions. Our practitioners use skilled evaluation, diagnosis, and a wide range of hands on techniques to identify the reasons for your pain, injuries or dysfunction. They are also trained to perform standard medical examinations of the musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, respiratory and nervous systems.

Our Osteopaths focus on how the skeleton, joints, muscles, nerves, and connective tissue function as an entire unit. We treat patients of all ages and provide a versatile and thorough approach in the treatment of all health related issues.

Osteopathy does not require a referral and is covered by most private health funds and Medicare's chronic disease management (CDM) plans. Osteopaths are registered providers for DVA patients, as well as workers compensation schemes and motor accident insurers.
